Sounds like to me a higher authority needs to get involved. Who does the mayor answer to? Maybe he needs a dose of his own medicine.
This sounds like something the current administration in Midland City would do. Midland City is a very corrupt town. They have a first-class police department with first class officers, but often times have to deal with interference from the mayor and various council members. This is definately a story that WTVY needs to follow up on.
They don't seem to be able to keep a Chief of Police (or any Police Officers for that matter) for any length of time in Midland City. Wake up Citizens!
