News 4 told you last week about Bay County High School in Panama City, offering to give Enterprise high students a place to have prom.

Some Wiregrass donors are also helping storm-torn students on their special night.

It’s prom time for many high school seniors, but in the wake of the March 1st tornado, many Enterprise high school students are still just trying to get back to normal.

That’s why some area groups are looking to give the students a prom truly like no other.

Houston Academy is taking $5000 dollars from their own prom budget to share the popular high school experience.

"It's something that senior’s need to have. They look forward to it their whole high school,” says Kindall Clark, president of Houston Academy’s Junior Class.

And, members from Chi Omega, a Troy University sorority, say they remember how happy they were at their prom, and want to give the Wildcat seniors that same feeling.

They are collecting prom dresses to help cut prom costs for the students.

"We want to make this a perfect night, where they can forget about their problems and the things that have been caused by this tornado. Just make it a good, fun night for them, a memorable night,” says Vicky Brown, coordinator for the Prom Dress Drive.

Chi Omega is giving more than just dresses. The girls are also raising money to give one student a total prom makeover.

"We want to take nominations for the high school senior girls. We’ll draw one name and the money we collect is going to go towards her to get her hair, makeup and nails done. Just help out because they’ve been though such a traumatic experience," says Brown.

Right now, no prom date has been set. Enterprise doesn't have a specific location set to hold prom either.

There have been some people in the Panhandle, like Bay County High School, to offer some space, but nothing is finalized right now.

If you would like to donate prom dresses, contact Vicky Brown at 334-475-0616.
