“I got my mom a necklace,” says 8 year old Alyssa Weidman.
Weidman plans on surprising her mom with that necklace on Christmas morning.
A necklace she picked out and purchased...all on her own.
“I’ve never been able to do that before,” says the 8 year old.
The Santa shop, located on highway 90 in Bonifay Florida, is helping kids find a gift that keeps on giving.
“Kids wanna come out and do their own shopping adults too anybody can shop here on their own and it's all reasonably priced.” says Niki French with the Santa Shop.
French runs the Santa Shop and says kids like the idea of being independent.
“I think that's the big thing kids get to do it on their own and they get to wrap the gifts themselves we have helpers here to help them and that's the big thing they get to be little adults. They get excited because they get to do it themselves and it's kind of like Mom and Dad really will be surprised,” says French.
5-year-old Charlie French got all her shopping done at the shop.
“My grandma a ring, and I got my sister 2 flowers and papa a star from over there and I grandma one of those wands that says mom and that's it. But I got my brother a soccer ball and a football except the football is very squishy,” says French.
Kids also have the chance to meet Santa and ask him face to face what they want for Christmas.
The Santa shop is located at Ed's Auto sales on Highway 90 in Bonifay.
The store is open during normal business hours until December 22nd.
