The lights on a TV tower in Texas weren't working Monday morning when an Army Black Hawk helicopter hit one of the tower's support wires and crashed.
The General Manager of KXXV, the station that owns the 1,800-foot tower, says the lights stopped working last week after storms hit the area. He says the station notified the Federal Aviation Administration.
The Black Hawk helicopter, carrying seven soldiers from Fort Hood, went down and burned near the tower, about 30 miles northeast of the base.
Witnesses who rushed to the crash site report seeing four bodies. Fort Hood isn't yet providing any official word on deaths and injuries.
