An Ozark man was sentenced to life in prison without parole after taking part in a jail riot in May.

24-year old Katoni Tellis was sentenced to life in prison for attempted murder.

Tellis beat and seriously injured two jailers at the Dale County Jail during the riot.

He was also convicted of criminal mischief, escape and assaulting an inmate, which earned him another 75 years behind bars.
