A deadly traffic accident that happened two weeks ago in Dothan has claimed another life.

Police say 46-year-old Robert Helms died early Wednesday morning at a Dothan hospital.

Helms was driving a car that was involved in a wreck on March 13th at the intersection of Ross Clark Circle and Columbia Highway.

Police say the car Helms was driving turned left into the path of an on-coming 18-wheeler.

A passenger in the car, 41-year-old Lavon Jones of Midland City died on the day of the accident.
