The Dothan-Houston County substance abuse partnership put together a mock car accident Wednesday morning as part of their prom promise campaign at Rehobeth High School.
Three students played the part of the victims and one was a drunk driver, two of them where injured and the other dead.
Making it even more life like, the rescue team used the Jaws of Life to get the deceased out of the vehicle and then put the body into the coroners van.
After the demonstration was over, the substance abuse partnership spoke to the children about the dangers involved in underage drinking- especially behind the wheel.
The students signed a banner promising not to consume drugs or alcohol on prom night so they make it home safe to their families.
