Last November, a man traveling the wrong way on Highway 84 just outside of Wicksburg struck a vehicle driven by former Alabama football star Siran Stacy.

Stacy's wife and four of his children were killed, leaving him and his three-year old daughter as the only survivors.

Stacy has been talking about how the accident has changed his life.

Thursday, he returned to his old high school, Geneva High School, to speak about how faith has helped him deal with tragedy.

Stacy says the prayer of others has helped him and his daughter cope.

Stacy says his message to the youth is one of overcoming tragedy and being able to work through mistakes made in life.

The Youth for Christ Group that put the event together says their goal is to make a difference as teenagers in their community.

I count myself as blessed to have been in attendance. Siran gave a powerful moving testimony. The Lord is using him greatly and I pray that he contiues to do so. I have heard he is speaking in other locations. To you reading this, go and see God work through this man. Amazing!! To the youth in attendance, I am proud of all of you. Taking a stand for Jesus is getting harder to do in todays world. Keep it up and may God bless each of you.
