State and local authorities are targeting illegal activities at a Panhandle recreation area.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission assisted in several arrests at Llake Cassidy over the weekend.

The lake is a popular boating and picnic area along the Holmes-Walton County line near Ponce de Leon.

Game officers along with sheriff's deputies have made several arrests for drug use and underage drinking.

The surveillance operation netted 13 misdemeanors, several felonies and three boating safety warnings.
