Houston County sheriff's deputies need the public's help in finding the person responsible for a church burglary.

Around 7 am, workers at Harper's Joy Assembly of God noticed the church office was broken into.

Investigators say the burglar got in through an old air conditioning unit.

Deputies report a small money safe was taken.

It appeared someone searched through the pastor's desk but nothing was taken.

The church will be having their homecoming service this Sunday.

Pastor Eddie Littlefield says they won't let this burglary dampen their spirits.
