Several people were injured in a boating incident on Lake Seminole over the weekend.

Investigators with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources say a boat slammed into a cypress tree about sundown Saturday evening.

Six people were on-board at the time of the incident.

Two were treated and released at a Donalsonville hospital.

The others were transported to hospitals in Dothan and Tallahassee although investigators say the injuries were not life-threatening.

The incident is still under investigation but no charges have been filed at this time.
