The rising cost of fuel is causing the prices of almost everything to go up.
You can expect to find some new changes at Mr. Ho's Restaurant in Troy, but it won't be anything on the buffet table.
"Some things have doubled; some things have tripled in price," says Vijay Nagpal, owner of Mr. Ho's Restaurant.
Mr. Ho's Restaurant is one of many restaurants in the Wiregrass that has to raise their prices because of the cost of fuel. The restaurant has already increased its price by 50 cents.
"People said you should have gone up more, but we don't want to rob these people," said Nagpal.
Not only does that make it hard for businesses, but also for those walking through its doors.
"I understand, but I'm having to do that and put gas in my car to get out there," said Lee Sikes.
Mayor of Troy, Jimmy Lunsford, says the price of gas is affecting everything in its sight and that is putting a pinch in everyone's wallet.
"It will have some impact obviously and hopefully, it won't be enough impact to affect the businesses," said Mayor Lunsford. "Until we have the gas prices go down, it's going to impact everything we do."
And, while customers have to shell out more cash, many of them say the great service like that at Mr. Ho's Restaurant will not detour them from coming back.
Other restaurants affected by the food cost increase are Sisters and Half Shell in Troy, along with Atlanta Bread Company in Dothan.
