Cancer survivor Lucille Latham has carried that message across Coffee County for several years.
She speaks with female inmates about "how to save your life with the touch of your fingers" in the detection of breast cancer.
Wednesday, she and the coffee county family services center announced that they're once again the recipient of a $70,000 Avon Foundation breast care fund grant.
The cosmetic giant has awarded millions of dollars worldwide for access to care and in finding a cure for the disease.
It’ll help fund several breast cancer awareness projects across Coffee County.
