OZARK, Ala. (AP) - An Ozark woman and her former boyfriend have been indicted on child abuse charges.

The Dale County Sheriff's Office said 27-year-old June Vicki Henry and 24-year-old Eddie Ledbetter, also of Ozark, were originally arrested in January.

Henry and Ledbetter were each charged with one count of aggravated child abuse. The indictment alleges that Henry's 7-year-old son suffered numerous injuries, including broken ribs and burns on his feet.

Both are scheduled to make an initial court appearance on July 29.
