FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. (AP) - A preliminary autopsy report shows that a Navarre man who fatally shot an Okaloosa County deputy and was later shot by other deputies actually killed himself.

Medical examiners say 47-year-old Mark Rohlman died Tuesday from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. He also suffered two wounds from bullets fired by the Okaloosa County Special Response Team.

Authorities were trying to catch Rohlman, who had skipped out on a court-ordered mental evaluation, obtained a shotgun and barricaded himself in a home in Fort Walton Beach.

Police say Rohlman killed 33-year-old Okaloosa County deputy Anthony Forgione. Funeral services for Forgione will be held Saturday.
