    Georgia Man Drowns in Panama City Beach Save Email Print

    The rip current Wednesday along Panama City Beach has killed one person.

    Police say 56- year old Jeffery Everitt from Georgia drowned in the Long Beach area.

    Double red flags were flying because of rip currents.

    Local authorities say the rip currents were created by the swells associated with Hurricane Dolly.

    Rescue personnel urge everybody to use caution when swimming in the Gulf.
