    Congressman Everett Endorses Love Save Email Print

    It was an exciting day for Alabama Representative Jay Love, as he received an endorsement from someone who’s been in Congress for 16 years.

    Love is going full speed ahead with his campaigning.

    This was District 2 U.S. Representative Congressman Terry Everett's message Monday morning at Daleville City Hall: "I'm here today to give my full endorsement to Jay Love as the Republican nominee and who I believe will be a new congressman from the district."

    After 16 years of holding the congressional seat, Everett is retiring.

    He hopes Representative Love will take over his position.

    "Jay represents all the things that we value as conservatives and Republicans and he has demonstrated the leadership to do that kind of thing," Congressman Everett continued.

    Representative Love commented on a few issues that have been highly discussed throughout the election.

    "If I'm elected to Congress, Congressman Everett, I promise to continue that critical support to Ft. Rucker," he said. "I pledge to work as hard as I can to get on agriculture and to get on Armed Services because you've shown that that's the best way you can represent those districts."

    Congressman Everett says he is honored to endorse Love, saying he wants someone in office who will continue conservative values. "I am just really pleased that he has entered this race with the idea of keeping this race in the conservative column."

    Love says if elected, the first thing he plans to do is elect a conservative representative to be speaker of the House.

    Election Day is Tuesday, November 4th.

    Did anyone show up for this event,sure didn't look like it on WTVY news cast! Politicians are what they are!! Maybe it's because of the very Low rating on their Job Performance in Washington. They just cant seem to get anything done for the People. Could it be that they really don't want to? Because the Owe so much to Champaign Contributers.
