Ozark residents could soon see some changes now that they have a new mayor.
Voters elected Billy Blackwell at Tuesday night's municipal elections.
Blackwell was challenged for the seat by Andy Gilland and Lynda Webb. He says he is ready to get in office and make some changes.
“The first thing we are going to do, we have a new city council, we will sit down and we will plan out our goals and make our plan and we'll look and see how we are going to move forward with our plan that will be the first thing on the agenda,” said Blackwell.
Blackwell will officially take office November 3rd.
