Highway 231 North Could Have 6 Lanes
The State of Alabama and local officials have been working on the "Circle Project" for about 20 years now. With an average of 44 thousand cars traveling on Highway 231 from Westgate to the Pavilion each day, the trip tends to slow some drivers down.
