Republican Rep. Robert Aderholt of Haleyville was the lone Alabama lawmaker to vote against the package.

The state's two Democrats and four other Republicans voted for it.

In Georgia, 11 of 13 House members voted against the bailout measure.

Democrats Sanford Bishop and Jim Marshall were the lone Georgia representatives to vote for the plan.

We should VOTE the BUMS out off Office. Everyone that voted for the bill and everyone responsible for protecting the Wall-Street fat cats, Democrates and Republicans alike!

How can we trust the Republican Admin. who has made sure his Wall St. supporters will do just fine? I have recently retired, after working 45 years and pray my savings and pension will be secure, but somehow, I cannot believe this Paulson request protects me. WE only have a few more months, please sign nothing that is long term until after the election. Credible economists are saying there are other ways not to rob us of our savings and security, and maybe we can win back the confidence of the world markets with a new Administration who will work for ordinary Americans. Thanks for using careful consideration before signing on to another plan of the people who got us into this mess. We must all use caution and reason!

It Seems the Georgia's Republicans of the HOUSE are taking up the Bush Banner and are trying to destroy the Middle Class. We still have our vote though.
