Good. It's about time. Alabama's regressive taxes on the poor are a shame. Now remove the tax on medicines as well.

Why doesn't the news tell ALL the story? Where's the state going make up the revenue? They are going to eliminate the Federal Tax credit on your state income tax. The good people of Alabama, who work, will end up paying MORE in taxes. Of course this in NEVER mentioned in reporting the elimination of the Alabama State Grocery tax. Be fair to the public and report ALL the facts.
