Police in McIntosh, Alabama say the severe weather that hit their community Saturday afternoon has been confirmed as a tornado.
Several homes were damaged and trees were uprooted in a neighborhood around Nichol Road and Boykin Boulevard.
Residents spent Sunday cleaning up the debris and removing downed trees.
No injuries were reported.
