Falling prices at the gasoline pump isn't the only good news for consumers on the energy front.

Natural gas producers say consumers should see lower heating bills this winter.

With the cooler temperatures last week and the winter weather just around the corner, people are starting to think about home gas needs.

Southeast Alabama Gas District spokesman Shannon Gooden says you can also think lower prices this season.

That's because there's plenty of natural gas in storage and more is being produced.

It's also because we've had a calm hurricane season so far this year.

Even though propane prices have risen the last two days, they have been on the decline.

Propane prices fluctuate depending on cold weather in the north, the availability, and hurricanes.
