This afternoon, Paul Ferrell of Dothan announced that he will be running for the district 5 seat of the Dothan City Commission.

Ferrell has lived in the Chapelwood neighborhood for 17 years.

The issues that he plans on tackling include helping the youth of Dothan graduate high school and working on the beaver creek wastewater facility.

“Working as an aircraft controller- those stressful situations have prepared me for the stress of running the city. One of the other significant things I have is time. Both of my opponents have full time jobs, careers, and business to run. My full time job will be running Dothan, Alabama" says Ferrell.

Currently, the seat is held by Taylor Barbaree, who is running for re-election.
