Houston County man sentenced to 40 years in prison
A Houston County man was sentenced to 40 years in prison for murder on Wednesday.

A Houston County man was sentenced to 40 years in prison for murder on Wednesday.

Forty-year-old Cenobio Sanchez of Gordon pled guilty in March. He was accused in the July, 2007 stabbing death of Carlos Benitez.

Investigators say the two men had been arguing over the volume level of a radio.

Sanchez faced up to life behind bars.
