Federal Emergency Management Agency community relations teams are working across Southeast Alabama, reaching out to people affected by the March 25 to April 3 storms.
FEMA teams will be in Ashford Sunday to tell residents, business owners, non-profit agencies and faith-based organizations how to register for disaster assistance.
Representatives can be easily identified by FEMA photo id badges.
FEMA provides information on how to access recovery resources, such as the U.S. Small Business Administration low-interest disaster loans for homeowners, renters and businesses of all sizes.
Individuals in Covington, Geneva and Houston counties who sustained damages resulting from severe storms, tornadoes, floods and straight-line winds may be eligible for disaster assistance.
To register for assistance you may call 800-621-FEMA or log onto www.disasterassistance.gov.
