Jackson County Sheriff's investigators need your help in identifying the remains of a body that was discovered in an area landfill.

Workers at the Springhill Landfill in Campbellton discovered the body around 1 pm Monday afternoon.

The preliminary investigation shows it is a white male with reddish brown hair.

The Springhill Landfill handles waste management from numerous counties in Alabama, Florida and Georgia.

The Jackson County Sheriff's Office, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the medical examiner's office are all investigating.

Authorities do not know the identity of the man and do not have a cause of death at this time.
