The families of a young couple are devastated today after losing them both in a motorcycle accident over the weekend.
They just got married april 18th and will be laid to rest together just two months later.
News 4's Denise Bradberry spoke with family members and they're already missing their angel.
Family members of 19-year-old Angel Seay say she was very sweet, pretty girl who loved everybody, especially her sweetheart since she was 14, Jeremy.
"She never met a stranger, ever since she was small she would make friends real easy... and she loved jeremy and Jeremy loved her and they were happy," says Beverly Pair, Angel's grandmother.
According to police, she and her new husband, 20-year-old Jeremy Seay were headed down Highway 51 Saturday night when the Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle they were riding slid across the road just short of the Highway 84 intersection in Enterprise.
A motorist passing by called the Enterprise police at 9:30 Saturday night.
Investigators say it could be a while before they know the true cause of the accident.
"We don't know if someone pulled out in front of them... if it was excessive speed... but at this time there's no indication from the motorcycle that it struck another object,” says Captain Mike Lolley with the Enterprise Police.
Jeremy died on the scene and Angel was transported to the Medical Center Enterprise but lost her life at 2 a.m. Sunday morning.
"It's just a tragedy that they went like this but i know that if they had to go that this would be the way they would want to go, together. They had a beautiful wedding, had a beautiful honeymoon and now they're in heaven together," says Pair.
The investigation will continue.
Family members feel there was another car involved.
They're offering a $3,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest.
If you have information please call the Enterprise Police at (334) 347-2222.
