An early morning shooting in Dale County has left one man dead and another in the hospital.
The dale county sheriff's department received a call about a stabbing but when they got there they quickly determined someone had been shot.
Authorities say three people were involved: the victim, the shooter who was also injured, and another suspect who's been detained for questioning.
A neighbor found the body of 32-year-old Trent Clark in the woods near a pond.
Residents who knew him say he worked as a barber.
The investigation into the incident continues; police have not released a motive in the case.
Ozark police, Alabama Bureau of Investigation and Houston County Dive Team helped aid Dale County Sheriff's Department in today's shooting.
