New UH-72 Flatiron to modernize Fort Rucker fleet
Ft. Rucker is replacing the current UH-1 Medevac choppers with newer models they say will help them perform their job better.

When they 'yard the 72's in a few years, they'll fly the pilots back in a Huey...

I wonder what will happen to the retired Hueys. i hate to see such legendary machines scrapped outright. i am welcoming the UH-72s, but am sad to see the Hueys fade away.
