Beginning October 26th, nursing students will begin handing out comfort care packages to students.
Their focus will be on those living in residence halls on campus.
Already several businesses have volunteered to donate supplies.
Troy University Nursing Student Whitnee Brown said, "It's really important to get the information to the students and the hand sanitizer and tissues. It's primary prevention and we are informing people about what to do and what not to do to keep the virus from spreading all over campus."
Troy nursing students are planning to start immunizing students against the H1N1 virus on campus October 5th.
