The Technical Committee of the Southeast Alabama rural planning organization met in Daleville this morning to talk about transportation needs.
A representative from the State Department of Transportation addressed structural issues on some state bridges.
The group also announced some high priority projects including the 1-10 connector, and highways 167, 84, and 431 from Dothan to Phenix City.
"Basically we are a facilitator who works with public officials in the county and the city so we can come up with a better communication system with the transportation authority" says David Lebert, Regional Planner.
Henry county residents can voice their opinions at a forum on Thursday at the Abbeville courthouse at 3:30 p.m.
