Troy University-Dothan is offering a year-long international film festival.
The films will show one Tuesday a month and will feature an array of acclaimed films that have received international recognition.
Troy-Dothan Library Director Chris Schaffer said, "The film festival offers people in Dothan a chance to see films they normally would not see. These are films that are not likely to come to Alabama and it gives you perspective on a variety of rural societies."
The next film, Gigante, is showing next Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Sony Hall on the Troy-Dothan campus.
