Construction is underway on the Enterprise downtown sidewalk project.

Workers are steadily pouring concrete to complete the upgrades in front of business fronts downtown.

Even though many of the businesses only have a small passage way to get into their front door, they are still open for business.

While some shop owners say the construction work has been devastating to business, others haven't seen much of a difference at all.

"It would be worth the inconvenience if it did affect business because the finished product will be really nice,” says Bob Cannon a downtown business owner.

Construction is scheduled to be completed in mid-March.
