Mother's day Makeover Contest

Being a mom is the most rewarding job in the world. It is also the most challenging. SPONSOR 1, SPONSOR 2, SPONSOR 3 & SPONSOR 4 invite you participate in a contest to recognize mothers that deserve to
win a day of luxury in our Mother’s Day Makeover Contest.


  • Write an essay, 500 words or less, explaining why your mom needs a day of pampering.

  • Enter online here between April 1st and April 30th. Or drop off your essay at WTVY, SPONSOR 1, SPONSOR 2, SPONSOR 3 or SPONSOR 4.

  • Starting May 2, 2008, WTVY will post the top three finalists online for voting.

  • On May 9, 2008, WTVY will select the winner of the contest.

  • The winning mom, will receive a fabulous day of beauty services from area businesses!


PRIZES:


  1. PRIZE 1: A personal, in-home beauty makeover. Prize package is comprised of a team of the following five specialists for one day (determined at the sole discretion of Sponsor): a hair stylist, make-up artist, maid, chef and gardener. Sponsor is not responsible if any specialist becomes unavailable for any reason, in which event that portion of the prize will be forfeited and no substitution will be provided.

  2. PRIZE 2: A box of Crest Whitestrips Daily Mulitcare.

CONTEST RULES:


  1. Completed Essay must be hand-delivered, mailed, or emailed (entry form here) to WTVY-TV 285 North Foster Street, Dothan, AL by close of business on Wednesday, April 30th, 2008.

  2. Contest Entries may also be delivered to sponsor locations:

  3. Top three finalists will be selected WTVY-TV and sponsor participants on May 2nd, 2008, and posted on www.wtvynews4.com. Top three finalists will be decided based on essay.

  4. Viewers will choose a winner by voting online. No more than one vote per household per day will be counted.

  5. Contest winner will be selected and notified on May 9th, 2008.

  6. Employees and immediate family members of WTVY-TV, SPONSOR 1, SPONSOR 2, SPONSOR 3 & SPONSOR 4 are not eligible to participate.

  7. Prizes cannot be substituted for cash and are non-transferable.

  8. Decisions of the contest judges are final - no substitutions will be available.

  9. This contest is subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws.

  10. One entry per person.
