A memorial service for Mr. Luke will be 3 P.M. Monday, April 28, 2008 in the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplin Curtis Grant officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Children’s Hospital in Birmingham.

Mr. Luke was born in Tulare, CA on October 1, 1943, the son of the late Ernest B. Luke and Audrey Harris Luke. He graduated from Syracuse University, where he played football. He loved sailing and cooking and his beloved dogs, “Ollie”, “Sophie”, “Mollie”, and “Emma”. His true love and joy came from being with his family.

Mr. Luke leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife, Susan Luke of Dothan, daughters, Kelly Luke Wilson and her husband Scott of Dothan, Shannon Luke of Kansas City, MO, sons, Cody Luke of Dothan, Sean Luke of Kansas City, MO, grandsons, James “Peyton Wilson and Jamison Wilson, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Dawn and Philip Philbin and their daughter Megan,
