Funeral services for Mr. Jackson will be 2 P.M. Monday, May 12, 2008 in the Chapel at Ward Wilson Funeral Home with the Reverend Ernest O’Neal officiating. Interment will follow in Gardens of Memory under the direction of Ward Wilson Funeral Home.

The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service time on Monday. Flowers will be accepted.

Mr. Jackson was born in Coffee County on December 8, 1922, the son of the late James Jackson and Nora Devine Jackson. He served in WWII and worked for the State of Alabama for over 30 years. During his spare time he loved to garden.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Foye Jackson, his second wife Helen Jackson, several brothers and sisters.

Mr. Jackson leaves behind to cherish his memories, daughter, Shirley Burnett and her husband Wayne of Pascagoula, Mississippi, sons, Don Jackson of New Brockton, AL, Ron Gary and his wife Lynn of Lawrenceville, GA, grandchildren, Tonya Fitzgerald and her husband Tim, Dawn Ivey and her husband Ben, Susan Michele and Amber Nicole, and eight great-grandchildren.
