Angel Seay of Enterprise crossed over to join her husband at 1:35 am on Sunday, June 14, 2009 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center following a motorcycle accident. She was 19. Funeral services will be 2 pm Thursday, June 18 in the Sorrells Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Paul Alexander and Rev. Roy Turner officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Enterprise directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 5 until 8 pm. Angel and her husband Jeremy were married April 18, 2009. She was a member of Eanon Baptist Church. She was a 2008 graduate of New Brockton High School, where she was active in the marching band and served as Captain of the Color Guard. She was currently enrolled at EOCC pursuing a teaching career and was employed at Daryl Worley Home Furnishings. Angel was preceded in death by her husband, Jeremy Daniel Seay, and her great-grandparents, Richard and Eva Nell Miller of Enterprise. Survivors include her parents, Alena and Marc Wilhite, Enterprise (Goodman Community), and Sergio Portillo of Honduras, Central America; parents-in-law, Tommy and Denise Seay, Enterprise; great-grandparents, Fred and Louise Gamble, New Brockton, AL; grandparents: Alan and Johnnie Miller, Ocala, FL, Beverly and James Pair, Woodville, AL, Louis and Marjorie Wilhite, Birmingham, AL, Lee and Cathy Brown, Enterprise; sister, Tera Wilhite, Enterprise; brothers: Jonathan Wilhite, Birmingham, Jonathan and Joanna Seay, Jacksonville, FL, Joshua Seay, Joseph Seay and Jared Seay, all of Enterprise; aunts: Bereka Miller, New Brockton, Tonja and Paul Elia, Daleville, AL, Sonja Peters, Raeford, NC, Amanda and Wayne Brown, Enterprise, Penny and Chuck Westrick, Enterprise, Suzan and Hal Bishop, Birmingham, Amy and Tim Vice, Dauphin Island, AL; 18 great aunts and uncles; 17 first cousins; best friend, Nicole Martineck; numerous other cousins, as well as countless other family members and friends.
