| Mary Driver, a resident of Dothan, died Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at her residence. She was 76. Celebration of Life services for Mrs. Driver will be held 2 PM Sunday, June 28, 2009 in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage Funeral Home with Reverend Joe Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in Madrid City Cemetery with Southern Heritage directing. The family will receive friends from 4 PM until 6 PM on Saturday, June 27, 2009 at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted. Mrs. Driver was born and raised in Daleville, Alabama November 30, 1932 to Lonnie and Jonnie Gilmer Merritt. She loved her family and enjoyed watching cooking shows. Mrs. Driver was a homemaker and attended the United Pentacostal Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, LeVon Driver, Sr. and a son, Cecil Driver. Survivors include three daughters, Linda Driver, Pace, FL, Cheryl Hall, Sandra Gordy, both of Dothan; three sons, LeVon Driver, Jr. (Jackie), Pensacola, FL, Michael Driver (Barbara), Ozark, Steve Driver, Dothan; seven grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. | |
