| Gloria Courey Gasper, loving wife of William Gasper went home on August 15, 2009. Born in Hermosa Beach, California, Gloria was a daughter of the late Ernest and Mamie Christina Wallace Courey. She was a graduate of California State University in Long Beach California. Mrs. Gasper was a homemaker and was of the Episcopal Faith. In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be made to Disabled American Veterans Chapter 87, 111 North Saint Andrews, Dothan, AL 36301. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by two sons, William Richard Gasper, Steven Robert Gasper, and a sister, Donna Braun. Gloria leaves behind to celebrate her life her husband for 59 years, William H. Gasper; her daughter, Laura Gasper Averett; her cherished granddaughter, Courey Allison Averett; sisters, Mary Conlee, Irvine, CA, Judy Peters, Roseville, CA, Lou Ellen Keesling, Oro Valley, AZ; several nieces and nephews. “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.” Southern Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the Gasper family. | |
