Alabama State Senator Jimmy Holley gave three to four thousand dollars to five different Dothan City schools.

The money comes from the state's community service grant program.

Those schools receiving the money include Faine Elementary, Grandview Elementary, Landmark Elementary, Montana Street Magnet, and Northview High School.

Principal Potter of Faine Elementary says this money will go to better equipment and more desks at the school.
