A couple of Dothan schools received almost $50,000 in state grant money.

Beverley Middle School and Dothan High School will use the funds for capital improvements.

The Dothan High School auditorium has not had major changes in more than 30-years.

With the money from the state, renovations are set to begin as soon as students leave for summer break.

The state funds for Beverley Middle School will go towards a new asphalt track.
