MILTON, Fla. (AP) - The American Civil Liberties Union is suing
the Santa Rosa County School District over prayers at graduation
ceremonies and other school events.

The ACLU filed the federal lawsuit Wednesday on behalf of two
Pace High School students.

The lawsuit claims the Panhandle district's high schools have included student prayers at graduation ceremonies for the last five years, and that school administrators and teachers mix their public duties with their religious beliefs by leading students in prayers and Bible readings.

Paul Green, the school district's attorney, did not immediately
return phone messages seeking comment about the suit.
