The Dothan City School board has approved a $67 million budget for next fiscal year.

The Dothan Eagle reports, the new budget is about $1.3 million less than the revenues projected.

The costs were kept to a minimum by not filling some vacant positions, not spending as much on textbooks and reducing school allocations.
