Several high schools in the Wiregrass area fell into the 17 percent that did not reach Adequate Yearly Progress, but one high school in the area is off the list.

Wicksburg High School was one of the schools listed, however has won an appeal that shows they actually reached AYP.

After reviewing their records, Houston County School officials showed Wicksburg High School's graduation rate was higher than originally reported.

Statewide, 83 percent of schools reached all 100 goals required by the No Child Left Behind Act.
