Five students from the JROTC program at Daleville High School got back from a rifle competition in Ohio a few weeks ago.

David hall set four records at the competition along with taking home the national title of being the number one marksman in the nation.

The four others competed as one unit and ranked 6th nationally.

"I think it means memories that they'll never forget as long as they live and I think it's also taught them a lesson, hard work sometimes will reward you with great benefits,” says instructor Lieutenant Colonel Ralph Aaron.

In April, two students will try to qualify for the Olympic team.
