After six public forums officials with Ozark City School Board are looking at ways to fund the project.

A ten mil hike in property taxes is on the table for a vote.

That means if you own a $100,000 home you would pay an additional $100 at the end of the year.

"People in Ozark know we need a new high school and I believe that it's going to be a lot of work to get an ad valorem tax passed but I believe in the end we'll vote for a new tax and then we'll be able to build a high school," says Ozark City School Superintendent Michael Lenhart.

No decision has been made on the location of Carroll High School.

Superintendent Michael Lenhart says if the rate hike is passed, the new high school would be up in about two years.
