Sunday was the first official day of summer and with kids being out of school for the next few weeks, they may need something constructive to do and what better way to keep busy than by something educational?

Wallace Community College offers summer programs to help kids learn and have fun including babysitting programs, wacky science classes and more.

There are classes available for those of all ages including teenagers and adults.

Organizers say during this tough economic time, it's a good opportunity to gain new skills.
