TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Alonzo Gee has become the third Alabama junior to decide to explore his NBA draft status.

Coach Mark Gottfried said Thursday that Gee expressed a desire to see where he stood in the draft. Like Ron Steele and Richard Hendrix, Gee doesn't plan to sign with an agent and could return next season.

Gee was third on the team in scoring at 14.5 points per game and averaged nearly seven rebounds. But he struggled to a 38 percent shooting clip in Southeastern Conference games, including 27 percent from 3-point range.

Gee started all 33 games last season.
