3 Local Teams Reach Baseball Semifinals Save Email Print

Three local teams are still alive in the State Baseball Playoffs. Providence Christian, Brantley and Charles Henderson are in the State Semifinals beginning Friday.

In Class 1A, Providence Christian travels to Brantley to Face the Bulldogs in the best of three game series. The Eagles are back in the State Semifinals for the second straight season. They're looking for their first ever trip to the State Finals in Montgomery.

In Class 5A, Charles Henderson will host Saint Paul's of Mobile. The Trojans advanced with a Quarterfinals sweep of Spanish Fort.

Class 1A: Providence Christian Eagles at Brantley-- Friday 4:30 & 6:30 p.m. (1:00 p.m. Saturday)

Class 5A: St. Paul's at Charles Henderson-- Friday 5:00 p.m. & 7:30 (12:00 p.m. Saturday)
